“Consent of the governed” is the foundation of our Republic. But consent only means something if it’s informed. When voters don’t have a fair, direct opportunity to hear candidates answer real questions and defend their positions, they’re left choosing based on soundbites, advertising, and noise instead of substance.
That’s the gap the Debate Center fills.
A Public Service, Not a Platform.
The Prometheum Foundation holds debates as a public service, giving citizens a direct opportunity to evaluate the differences between candidates seeking public office. Our goal is simple: provide a fair, informative, and non-partisan forum where candidates can express their views and positions, side by side, in front of the voters they hope to represent.
We don’t take sides. We don’t push an agenda. We create the room, set the rules, and let the ideas speak for themselves — so voters, not campaign messaging, get the final word.

The Prometheum Foundation is a non-political, non-profit, 501(c)(3) charitable organization dedicated to critical and analytical thinking, freedom of thought, and entrance into the marketplace of ideas. We have no stake in who wins — only in making sure voters have the information they need to decide for themselves. To decide whom they trust to make decisions for them.
That neutrality is what makes the Debate Center trusted by candidates and voters alike, and it’s exactly why it needs to keep existing.
